Bringing health care to East Parker County

Texas Health breaks ground on Willow Park outpatient center

(Continued)

The outpatient center is expected to be completed in November 2014.

They plan to hold a large open house event with preventative health screenings before the location goes live, Canose said.

“We’re excited that Texas Health is coming to Willow Park,” Richard Neverdousky, Willow Park mayor, said in a statement. “This facility is going to be a beautiful, state-of-the-art campus ready to serve local residents and grow as our community grows.”

The health campus will be Texas Health’s first facility in Parker County, though they currently serve Parker County residents at their Azle and downtown Fort Worth hospitals.

“Texas Health provides care to more patients in the southwest region of North Texas than any other health care provider by offering high-level services to communities throughout the area,” said Dr. Harold Berenzweig, executive vice president for Texas Health and the system’s Southwest Zone clinical leader. “Today, we’re breaking ground on a facility that will bring primary care and other select specialties to Willow Park and surrounding Parker County communities, making it more convenient for residents to get quality care close to home.”
