Small earthquake centered near Reno

USGS records 2.6 magnitude quake

The U.S. Geological Survey said a 2.6 magnitude earthquake occurred at 9:32 p.m. Tuesday, centered 1 mile southeast of Reno in northwest Parker County.

The Parker County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday had no immediate reports of damage or injuries, according to reports.

It was the first earthquake recorded in North Texas since a 2.4 magnitude quake reportedly took place Oct. 16 about 20 miles south of Dallas.
