Delivery of Friday, Sunday print editions pushed to Monday

Ongoing icy road conditions have forced another delay in the Weatherford Democrat's production and delivery of the Friday and Sunday editions.

The newspaper had hoped to be able to get its production and circulation teams in Sunday afternoon to print and deliver the past two editions, however ice continues to cover area roadways, making it unsafe and even impossible for those people to make it to the WD's office.

As it now stands, plans are to publish and distribute both the Friday and Sunday print editions on Monday afternoon.

We apologize for the delays but ask for and appreciate your patience and understanding. We also remind our subscribers that both editions and the articles are available online and via the eEdition.

People are still urged to stay off the roads until conditions improve.
