A business in the 800 block of Palo Pinto Street on Wednesday reported that a 33-year-old woman took a 32-inch flat-screen television, valued at $250, from the business.
An 84-year-old man reported to police that more than a dozen checks, totaling $1,474, were passed without his consent or authorization.
Parker County sheriff’s deputies Wednesday were dispatched to West Aycock Court where a 44-year-old woman said a known suspect threatened to kill her.
Parker County sheriff’s deputies responded late Wednesday morning to a burglary report in the 205 block of Joyce Street. The resident reported the theft of a pink piggy bank with approximately $180 cash inside and the words “Baby’s First Piggy Bank” written on it; a wooden jewelry box with approximately $35 in miscellaneous coins; and a black 8-inch Samsung tablet valued at $200.
Burglary of a vehicle was reported to the Parker County Sheriff’s Office at 6:53 a.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of Oakdale Drive. A man said several items were taken from his work truck, including a check for $2,796.26, a Craftsman toolbox worth $75 with approximately $200 worth of tools inside, a Samsung digital camera worth $700 and a Bosch hammer drill worth an estimated $200.
