Annual Bag Lady luncheon is Thursday

The annual Bag Lady Luncheon, benefitting the Parker County Committee on Aging, is Thursday at the Parker County Sheriff’s Posse building on Mineral Wells Highway west of Weatherford.

The viewing of the bags that will be auctioned off begins at 11 a.m. with lunch served at noon. Tickets are $40 each.

Plains Capital Bank is the speaker sponsor for this year’s Bag Lady Luncheon. They are sponsoring former Miss America Dr. Shirley Cothran Barret, this year’s luncheon speaker.
