Holiday festivities on tap Saturday as downtown takes on a Christmas look

Entertainment, carriage rides, refreshments, open businesses and vendors lead up to lighting of courthouse Christmas tree


Businesses selling the cards include Quickprint, Antiques on the Square, Back to Yesterday, Cup ‘N’ Cake Bakery, Feather Your Nest, Hartness Print Central, Main Street Mercantile, Red Rooster, Sassy’s and Something Special.

Norris said both Quick Print and Hartness Print Central also have a commemorative poster for sale right now. Historical ornaments are also being sold at Quick Print, Norris said.

Other businesses have signed on as sponsors of what is hoped to be a regular event, including Back to Yesterday, First Financial Bank, First National Bank of Weatherford, Quick Print, Hartness Print Central, Simms Lumber, Weatherford Democrat and BBVA Compass Bank.
