Shelter offers adoption special for pets 25 pounds or bigger this week only

This week only at Weatherford-Parker County Animal Shelter, any pet 25 pounds or more is just $25.

The shelter is full and they would like to see many pets enjoy their freedom this week as everyone celebrates Independence Day.

All adoptions include core vaccines, spay/neuter and a microchip. Any pets under 25 pounds are $40 to adopt, still a great deal for your next new best furry friend. There is never a fee to approved rescue groups.

As always you can see the adoptable pets at http://weatherfordtx.gov/index.aspx?nid=15. The shelter’s hours are 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays, with extended hours until 6 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays. The shelter will be closed this Thursday for the holiday.
