Cooper, Thomas wed

Addie Lynn Cooper, Lance Corporal, United States Marine Corp, stationed at Cherry Point, N.C., and Brandon Thomas, Lance Corporal, United States Marine Corp, stationed at Camp Pendleton, Calif., were wed Nov. 1, 2008, in Las Vegas.

Addie is the daughter of Lynn Dickinson of Weatherford, Texas, and G.F. Cooper of Strawn, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Inez Dickinson of Weatherford. Addie graduated from Weatherford High School in 2006.

Brandon is the son of Celeste and Patrick Duplain of Tarpon Springs, Fla., and the late Scott Thomas.



Rhoades, Slaughter unite

Eve Rhoades and Justin Slaughter, both of Dallas, were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Dec. 12, 2008 at Excellence Riviera Resort in Puerto Morelos, Mexico. Thirty friends and family members attended the ocean view terrace ceremony and following private reception.

The bride is the daughter of Sherri Craun and George Boothe of San Antonio. The bridegroom is the son of Beverly Schopmeyer and George Slaughter IV of Weatherford.
