The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Depart-ment between Friday Jan. 9 and Sunday Jan. 11, 2009.



Criminal mischief

n Saturday, Jan. 10: In the 1400 block of East View Drive, a complainant reported that between midnight and noon, unknown suspect(s) damaged his vehicle by breaking out a window with an unknown blunt object.

n Saturday, Jan. 10: In the 300 block of Front Street, a complainant reported that between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m., unknown suspect(s) had damaged a vehicle by shooting a window with a BB gun.

n Saturday, Jan. 10: In the 900 block of South Brazos Street, a complainant reported that between 9 p.m. Jan. 9 and 9 a.m. Jan. 10, unknown suspect(s) damaged a vehicle by shooting a window with a BB gun.

n Saturday, Jan. 10: In the 300 block of South Bowie Drive, a complainant reported that between 10 p.m. Jan. 9 and 7 a.m. Jan. 10, unknown suspect(s) damaged a vehicle by breaking out the driver’s side window with an unknown blunt object.



Burglary of a vehicle

n Friday, Jan. 9: In the 800 block of Fort Worth Hwy., an employee of Heritage Auto reported that between Jan. 7 and Jan. 8, unknown suspects entered onto the business property and burglarized a Ford Ranger pickup by removing the in-dash stereo.

n Saturday, Jan. 10: In the 1200 block of Duke Street, a complainant reported that between 3 a.m. and noon, unknown suspect(s) forced entry into a vehicle by breaking a rear window. The complainant reported that the suspect(s) then stole a CD/DVD player and several music CDs.

n Saturday, Jan. 10: In the 100 block of Garner Road, a complainant reported that between 1 a.m. and 9 a.m., unknown suspect(s) entered into an unlocked vehicle and stole a wallet.

n Saturday, Jan. 10: In the 300 block of Garner Road, a complainant reported that between midnight and 5 a.m., unknown suspect(s) entered into an unlocked vehicle and stole a purse.

n Sunday, Jan. 11: In the 2000 block of Santa Fe Drive, a complainant reported that between Jan. 9 and Jan. 11, unknown suspect(s) entered into the cab of his semi truck without permission and stole a Coleman electric cooler.



Assault

n Saturday, Jan. 10: In the 800 block of South Lamar Street, a complainant reported that during an argument with her boyfriend she was assaulted when he punched her in the head and face with a closed fist. The complainant reported only minor injuries due to the assault.

n Driving under the influence/alcohol, 2

n Theft, 1

n Possession of a controlled substance, 1



n Between 7 a.m. Jan. 9 and 7 a.m. Jan. 12, the Weatherford Police Dispatch generated 216 calls for service log entries (includes officer initiated entries).
