The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department Wednesday, Jan. 14 and Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009.



Theft

n Wednesday, Jan. 14: 200 West Simmons Street, a complainant reported that within the past eight months unknown person(s) had taken several pieces of jewelry from her residence without her permission.

n Thursday, Jan. 15: 100 I-20 East, an employee of Target reported that store employees had witnessed a white male suspect leaving the business without paying for two MP3 players he had concealed in his clothing.



Criminal Mischief

n Wednesday, Jan. 14: 100 Berry Lane, a complainant reported that between Jan. 1 and Jan. 14 unknown suspect(s) had damaged his enclosed cargo trailer. The complainant advised that the suspect(s) had punched holes in the side of the trailer with an unknown object and broke all the exterior lighting.

n Thursday, Jan. 15: 2400 Old Dennis Road, a complainant reported that between 7 p.m. Jan. 14 and 7 a.m. Jan. 15 unknown suspect(s) had damaged his entry gate by intentionally bending a decorative metal cutout welded to the gate.



Identity Theft

n Thursday, Jan. 15: 1000 Keechi Street, a complainant reported that she had discovered that an unknown suspect without her permission had opened a bank account using her name.



Burglary of a Vehicle

n Thursday, Jan. 15: 1300 Timber Creek Drive, a complainant reported that between 7 a.m. Jan. 14 and 8 a.m. Jan. 15 unknown suspect(s) without consent entered into her vehicle and stole the stereo and a large speaker.



Burglary of a Habitation

n Wednesday, Jan. 14: 1200 Foster Lane, a complainant reported that between 7:20 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. unknown suspect(s) had entered into her residence without permission through a window. The complainant reported that once inside the residence the suspect(s) stole a computer, one ring, small caliber handgun and jars of loose change.

n Between 7 a.m. Jan. 14 to 7 a.m. Jan. 15 the Weatherford Police Dispatch generated 83 Calls for Service (CFS) log entries. (Includes Officer Initiated entries)

n Between 7 a.m. Jan. 15 to 7 a.m. Jan. 16 the Weatherford Police Dispatch generated 81 Calls for Service (CFS) log entries. (Includes Officer Initiated entries)
