Brock voters did not approve the bond that was up for election.

Of the 1,165 votes cast, 60.26 percent voted against the bond and 39.74 percent voted for the bond.

The bond would have given Brock ISD funds of $8.9 million for upgrades and improvements for all schools in the area.

Approval of the bond would have allowed for new softball, baseball and football fields at the high school level, as well as a new agriculture center and additional parking.

The bond would have also funded football facilities, other physical fitness equipment and recreation facilities at the junior high level, and new playground equipment and improvements for the elementary schools.
