Weatherford Regional Medical Center’s Healthy Woman program will host a seminar Thursday about sleep and sleep disorders.
The seminar, “The A, B, ZZZ’s of Sleep,” is one of the monthly topics Healthy Woman hosts free of charge for the community.
The seminars began when a study showed women made a majority of health decisions for the whole family.
Thursday’s topic will be hosted by Dr. Robert Garmon of Sleep Foundations of North Texas, who, according to the Healthy Woman flyer, will answer “everything you wanted to know about sleep disorders, but were too tired to ask.”
Healthy Women has more than 1,000 members and costs nothing to join.
An advisory panel of 12 local women chooses topics based on community feedback, and local doctors are often called in to share their expertise.
Thursday’s seminar will be held at noon in the Multi-Purpose Room at WRMC. To attend, RSVP by today to (817)341-PINK.
