Elizabeth Neuman, registered dietitian with the Kidney Smart organization, will conduct a program on Kidney Smart on Thursday, Sept. 25.

The program will be at 6:30 p.m. at the Parker County Agricultural Service Center in Weatherford, 604 North Main Street.

The free class will provide information on how kidneys function, the causes of chronic kidney disease, and how medications, diet and nutrition work together to keep people  healthy. It will also explains how to manage other related healthy conditions, including diabetes and hypertension and how to attain information on what treatment choices are available.
