The Weatherford Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association announces the 19th Annual Raffle Night with Casino Games fundraiser. This year’s event will be held on Feb. 15 with doors opening at 6 p.m. at the Weatherford Ninth Grade Center Activities Building.

As usual there will be craps, black jack, bingo and roulette, among other games and surprises.

Admission is $10 which includes your first 10 plays, along with a drink and event goodie bag. How much you spend depends on the extra stuff you may want to do and how lucky you are at the games. Tickets will be available at the door and in advance by calling 817-613-7692. No one under the age of 18 is permitted into the event.

At the end of the night all chips are cashed out and exchanged for raffle tickets and participants can decide what prizes they want to try to win. Prizes range from gift cards to eating establishments and businesses, and an overnight stay at Choctaw Casino to two roundtrip domestic airline tickets for Southwest Airlines.

Proceeds of the event go to projects such as McGruff the Crime Dog, Child Identification kits and other projects sponsored by WCPAAA. It is also a great time to come and show support for local law enforcement.

This year’s event is made possible by Sargent’s Wrecker Service, Motel 6, Weatherford Inn and Suites, Kohl’s, Knights of Columbus, Mike’s Westside Rental, First National Bank, Sheriff Larry Fowler, Mac Smith and HFB associates and many other table sponsors, donors, volunteers, and employees of the Weatherford Police Department.
