Curtis Elementary first graders had a first-hand look at how milk was produced after Southwest Dairy’s mobile dairy unit paid a visit to the students on Friday morning.
Todd Griffin, representing Southwest Dairy, educated the first graders about the importance of drinking milk.
He also showed students how milk was extracted from the cow to the bottle.
