The Parker County/Weatherford, TX NAACP Branch 6321 will host a U.S. Census Bureau representative at its Aug. 10 general membership meeting.
The meeting will be held at 11 a.m. at the Historic Mt. Pleasant School, 213 Raymond George Way, Weatherford. The meeting is free and open to the public.
The speaker will be Eda Kosma, a partnership specialist for the U.S. Census Bureau, Denver Region. Kosma is responsible for developing partnerships with state and local governments, community- and faith-based organizations, schools and businesses in North Texas.
Kosma has extensive experience working with private, nonprofit and state government organizations. Most recently, she worked as a security intelligence specialist at Delta Air Lines, developing partnerships with federal security and regulatory agencies. Kosma volunteers her time to several different organizations in her community.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in International Relations, German and Mandarin from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
