Pam Wright, a member of the Tarrant County League of Women Voters and an authority on the upcoming redistricting process in Texas, will speak at the monthly meeting of the Parker County Active Democrats Monday.
The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. with a social time, and the program starts at 7 p.m. The group meets at the Twentieth Century Club House, 321 S. Main St., Weatherford. Parking is provided at the rear of the building, an historic white house at the corner of Lee and South Main Streets. The meeting is free and open to the public.
Wright serves as secretary of the league’s board and is an active member of the league’s People-Powered Fair Maps Campaign to improve the fairness of Texas district maps and decrease partisan gerrymandering.
