Hulen Mall has a new program, “My School’s Cool,” which will give $20,000 to local schools in the 2010-11 school year.

“My School’s Cool” is a community driven program, providing cash to local schools, while enticing shoppers to shop Hulen Mall. The program launched Sept. 15.

Weatherford High School is participating in the program and earns points based on Hulen Mall receipts, school involvement and opportunities for “extra credit.”

Receipts can be turned in to the lockers in center court, the mall office, or the school. Those who want to keep their receipts should go to the school or the mall office during regular business hours.

Hulen Mall will also create events, promotions and goodwill programs for schools to earn extra points. The school with the most points at the end of each semester wins the competition. There are five prizes per semester with the top prize being $5,000.
