One of the largest livestock auction businesses in the U.S., Superior Livestock, recently announced the move of its Fort Worth Stockyards broadcasting headquarters to Hudson Oaks.
According to a release from the company, the new facility will support Superior Livestock’s anticipated future growth and provide greater capacity for customer service and service development.
“We are excited and looking forward to being part of the Hudson Oaks business community. The selection process for our new broadcast headquarters and offices took several months and we are very pleased with the results,” Superior Livestock President Danny Jones said. “Some of the important attributes we were looking for included excellent exposure, strong internet capacity, convenient access and a business-friendly community/city government.”
With more than 400 representatives located throughout the U.S., Superior Livestock markets well over one million head of cattle annually and provides a complete national marketing network that serves both buyers and sellers.
“I am excited to welcome Superior Livestock to the Hudson Oaks’ family of businesses. Superior is a national leader in televised and online cattle auctions and will join Nextlink as yet another high-tech corporate headquarters that has chosen Hudson Oaks as their home,” Hudson Oaks Mayor Marc Povero said. “Superior employees and the beautiful Hill Country style building will be welcome additions to our city.”
Superior Livestock has been in business for more than 30 years serving the livestock industry, according to the release. The move is seen as a key factor in continuing the visibility and growth of the business.
“We feel that we are in the right place and look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship between Superior Livestock Auction and the Hudson Oaks community,” Jones said.
