Aledo High School’s Gracie Morris added another accolade to her 2019 season, finishing first in the Three-Mile (Elite Division) at last weekend’s Denton-based Marcus I Invitational.

Aledo’s boys finished 23rd as a team in the 5000M Elite Division, while the girls finished 23rd as a team in Three-Mile Elite Division.

The Bearcats’ and Lady Cats’ individual results from the meet are:

Three-mile (Elite girls)

• Gracie Morris, first with a time of 16:51.89

• Sarah Tillotson, 100th with a time of 19:49.60

• Kaitlyn Laningham, 148th with a time of 20:51.93

• Olivia Tregellas, 179th with a time of 21:51.38

• Olivia Caggiano, 191st with a time of 22:40.52

5000m (Elite Boys)

• Cooper Goggans, 53rd with a time of 16:31.85

• Isaac Hernandez, 83rd with a time of 16:51.10

• Townes Raulerson, 115th with a time of 17:08.27

• Steven Furlow, 187th with a time of 18:11.82

• Rylan Shaffer, 205th with a time of 18:35.56

Aledo competes in the Southlake Carroll Invitational Saturday at Bob Jones Park.
