Brock, which owns a 4-0 record in district play, can clinch a district championship with a win over Godley High School in the former’s final regular season match Tuesday.

With that, Eagles’ and Lady Eagles’ Head Coach Wesley Kidd stressed his team must maintain its focus and not let up with postseason play quickly approaching.

“We’ve beat who we think is the toughest competition, so there’s no reason to let it slip away now,” Kidd said.

“We have to stay focused on what our goal is and go and get it done.”

Kidd added that Tuesday’s match versus Godley carries plenty of weight, considering a loss to the Wildcats and Lady Wildcats would result in a three-way tie for first in the team’s district.
