The Peaster Greyhounds have battled through a tough three-game stretch, most recently falling to the Albany Lions, 41-0 Friday night on the road.
However, the team is trending in the right direction, Head Coach Matt Chapman said.
“We’re getting better every week,” Chapman said.
“We’ve faced some tough opponents over the last several weeks, but we’re executing. We tell our kids, ‘Just keep focusing on getting better. The wins will come.’”
Among the priorities heading into this week’s tilt with the Fort Worth Trinity Valley Trojans and beyond are continuing to further establish an offensive identity, Chapman said.
Peaster’s head coach also stressed the importance of mental toughness in the face of adversity.
The Greyhounds play Trinity Valley at 7:30 p.m. Friday on the road.
