The Aledo Lady Cats pushed their District 4-5A record to 6-0 Friday evening at home, sweeping the Wichita Falls Lady Coyotes, 3-0.

Aledo opened the match with a dominant 25-11 in the first set, before toughing out a 25-18 win in set two.

The Lady Cats sealed the match with a 25-9 win in the third set.

Senior opposite hitter Daleigh Ellison finished with a team-high 12 kills, followed closely by junior middle blocker Audrey Pearce with nine kills.

Aledo racked up eight aces, with Pearce, sophomore setter Mattie Gantt and junior outside hitter Lilly Taylor leading the way with two apiece.

Three Lady Cats finished with double-digit digs, led by senior libero Riley Pickett leading the way with 19.

Pearce and Gantt tacked on 10 digs each.

Gantt also led Aledo in assists with 26.

The Lady Cats host the Wichita Falls Rider Lady Raiders in a district match at 6 p.m. tonight.
