Tison takes two from Burleson 

Tison's C-team took the first game from Burleson Kerr, as the seventh-grade teams battled on Tuesday.  Brandon Kelly scored first for the Roos, en route to a 14-8 win. Ryan Carper crossed the goal line for the second score, and added a 2-point conversion.

The Tison B-team lost their match 14-0, with Demarcus Gratts and Kade Spooner showing out defensively for the Roos.

The Tison A-team's game saw the Roos win with a dominating 32 - 6 score.  Leading the team on offense was Logan Bridges, with three touchdowns. Kaemon Stults opened up run lanes throughout the game.

Dylan Smith scored a pair of TD's and  Jermaine Rucker played well on both sides of the ball, running the ball well and snagging an interception on defense. Jared Steele added a 2-point conversion.   

 

Aledo readies for district with win over North Crowley

It took five games, but Aledo outlasted North Crowley  on Tuesday, winning 26-24, 21-25, 22-25, 25-19, 15-13.

Briana Sharratt led the Ladycats, putting down 18 kills in the 5-game thriller. Mallory Powell spurred the offense with 50 assists and defensively had 33 digs.

Raygan McLelland also contributed overall, with 14 kills and 16 digs, while Shannon Taylor had 20 digs.
