Weatherford High School’s varsity Lady Roo powerlifting team recently competed in the Mineral Wells meet, with 10 total competitors with the blue and white taking home a top-10 finish.

Weatherford’s individual results from Mineral Wells are:

• Yeraldine Perez, second in the 97-pound weight class, squatting 150 pounds, bench pressing 80 pounds and deadlifting 150 pounds for a total weight of 380 pounds.

• Kayla Host, second in the 123-pound weight class, squatting 135 pounds, bench pressing 85 pounds and deadlifting 160 pounds for a total weight of 380 pounds

• Yuliza Ramos, fourth in the 132-pound weight class, squatting 165 pounds, bench pressing 90 pounds and deadlifting 205 pounds for a total weight of 460 pounds

• Stephanie Taylor, fifth in the 132-pound weight class, squatting 155 pounds, bench pressing 90 pounds and deadlifting 175 pounds for a total weight of 420 pounds

• Mallory Floyd, fourth in the 148-pound weight class, squatting 230 pounds, bench pressing 120 pounds and deadlifting 185 pounds for a total weight of 535 pounds

• Madison Hines, second in the 165-pound weight class, squatting 290 pounds, bench pressing 135 pounds and deadlifting 265 pounds for a total weight of 690 pounds

• Alexis McCune, fourth in the 165-pound weight class, squatting 230 pounds, bench pressing 145 pounds and deadlifting 230 pounds for a total weight of 605 pounds

• Emily Defosse, second in the 181-pound weight class, squatting 205 pounds, bench pressing 115 pounds and deadlifting 210 pounds for a total weight of 530 pounds

• Fatima Cansino, third in the 198-pound weight class, squatting 265 pounds, bench pressing 150 pounds and deadlifting 255 pounds for a total weight of 670 pounds

• Alyvia Thomas, first in the 220-pound weight class, squatting 300 pounds, bench pressing 180 pounds and deadlifting 260 pounds for a total weight of 740 pounds
